Week 10: Electronics 2

The assignment for week 10 was to practice circuits and coding Arduinos in Tinkercad.

Video 1

Video 1 went over the basics of making circuits in Tinkercad with Arduinos. I put an led on the breadboard and added the proper resistor in order for the light to turn on when I started the simulation.

I also learned about using buttons and a potentiometer.

Video 2

Video 2 went over coding the Arduino. I learned the various functions that you could creat and show using the serial monitor. The modulo function shows the value of the remainder after division.

I also learned about if statements

After learning the basics, I practiced with my own code to get comfortable using it. The one in the serial monitor shows that the statement that the distance is greater than the steps is true.

Assignment

The first part of the assignment was to create a circuit with code so the leds would turn on and off in sequence.

Here's the code that goes with it!

Here's a link to the file in Tinkercad.

The second part of the assignment was to write code that will count up from 1, but every 5 numbers it had to print my name.

Here's the Tinkercad link to the code for this section!
